Decorating ideas...

Yesterday was the last day of my exams at the uni, so i feel like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders. It was a hectic month. Lot of studying and i had to run some errands as well and at one point i got soooo frustrated.

Finally, i have enough time to relax. I am thinking of doing some changes in my bedroom. I really don't know what i want exactly so i did a small research. I found some interesting ideas.

I really like the dark colors on walls. I don't think that you HAVE to paint your walls with a bright color if your room is small. I just think that if you keep a balance between dark and bright colors you can do miracles! <if that makes any sense?>

Books can seem pretty useful. I love reading books. And a lot of people too. They teach, illustrate, inspire and explain. They also take up a lot of room in our homes! These are some nice ways to decorate.

Create an instant nook area by a window, fireplace, or even on a blank wall, by flanking the space with floor to ceiling bookshelves. Set a desk or comfortable chair in the nook, or use the nook area for built-ins. You can also stack three books on a side table to use as a raised display area. Set a lamp, sculpture, urn, or plant (in a waterproof cache pot) on top of the books. This is a great way to raise another accessory that may be too short as well as create some interest in a display.
This area looks so comfy and neat. I love the color combination and the rag too. But I'd rather paint my room a darker color. Something like burgundy red. Just one or two wall though cause else it's gonna be way too much. I don't know. I am confused! lol I can't decide.

This set up is reaaally cute. It's not the best living room i have ever seen but it looks really nice! The windows at the back look like a huge poster of NYC skyline! =P

My bedroom is not huge so with just a few things i can transform my room in a cococozy place and i don't have to spend a fortune. New curtains, pillows and a colorful bedspread will give a new look. I have an old chair (circa 1995 haha) which i was thinking to get rid of but i changed my mind. I will just change the fabric and it will look brand new, chic oh so in style. Check this makeover for example. .

Absolutely fabulous... Present and past combined in a great way...

I'll keep up with my research until i find what i want.

Till then, be safe!

Oh! What a beautiful dress!

This dress is so lovely! It's so girly and feminine at the same time...  LOVE IT!
Btw here is my new haircut! I haven't gotten a fringe since 5th grade! I was scared that my forehead will get oily but good news....it didn't! =)
